God of War: Laufey was announced on June 2, 2026. The Egyptian and Mongolian gods shown in the demo — Sekhmet and Begtse — don't have announced voice actors yet, and more roles will likely be named closer to launch.

Deborah Ann Woll — Faye (Laufey)

Woll reprises her role as Faye from God of War Ragnarök — the studio said it was “thrilled to have the fantastic Deborah Ann Woll lead the cast.” Now she's not a memory or a corpse on a pyre; she's the player character. Most players will know her as Karen Page across Marvel's Daredevil, The Defenders, The Punisher, and Daredevil: Born Again, plus Jessica Hamby in True Blood.

Jack Quaid — Phranque

Quaid voices Phranque, the talking cosmic cube that became the breakout star of the reveal (his name is pronounced “Frank”). He's best known as Hughie Campbell in The Boys, plus Oppenheimer, Novocaine, and Boimler in Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Perlina Lau — Rue

Lau plays Rue, the enchanted ribbon guardian bound to Faye's sword. She's a New Zealand actress, best recognized as Pip in the dystopian black-comedy series Creamerie. Rue appears in-game as the talking ribbons on Faye's sword.

• Cory Barlog — Head of Creative, Santa Monica Studio. A new role announced alongside Laufey; he directed 2018's God of War. His headline quote: “This is not a prequel” — Laufey is “a continuation of the timeline.”
• Ariel Lawrence — Game Director. On choosing Faye: “We'll always tell stories about Kratos, but for us, it was just a chance to talk about somebody who was so pivotal to the beginning.”

God of War: Laufey is developed by SIE Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It's a PS5 exclusive, with no release date or price announced.
